Collar & Harness Fit Guide
Collars – A collar should fit comfortably around the dog’s neck and a good rule of thumb is you should be able to fit two fingers in to the collar while it’s on your dog.
Harnesses – Measure the girth of your dog’s chest, just behind its front legs. You should be able to fit four fingers behind the front legs where the chest is the widest when the harness is on so that it’s not too tight. Always make sure that your dog’s legs can move freely in the harness whilst walking.
Dog clothing – Measure from the nape to the base of the tail, this will give you the length that you need for a coat or sweater. Most coats are adjustable around the girth so don’t worry about this too much. As for other items of clothing once again the most important measurement is the length of your dog.
